We make every effort to post news, on the bottom of the web homepage and on Facebook to keep you informed.
● In August of 2023, MPC terminated our contract. Moving forward the board has been managing functions internally. We have hired an accounting firm known as Duick & Co. from Elkhorn to help manage the budget and assessment collection.
● In an effort to be both budget and environmentally conscious, and to reach members quickly per Email when the need arises, we highly encourage you to provide your contact information on the attached sheet.
● We post a copy of the members’ meetings, and upcoming agenda’s on the website, as well as a paper copy at the two kiosks. (Beach and Park)
● Remember that beach and park passes must be displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle, or your vehicle may be subject to towing at the owner’s expense. Beach passes for 2024 will be distributed at the May 4th. meeting. (We will not be mailing out the passes in 2024.)
● It is important you attend the May 4th. meeting which starts at 10 a.m. in the Park Pavilion. Please come early to sign the attendance sheet. We will review the annual budget, discuss issues related to the storm water runoff, and next steps in maintaining our beach front and boat launch as well as other important items. We also will be voting on the approval of the proposed changes to our bylaws, which will be posted on the website in April and in the kiosk for your review prior to the meeting. We need your support moving forward. We appreciate your efforts, starting with your attendance.
● This May we have three director positions on the board whose terms are up with some vacancy needs that will need to be filled. We are looking for serious members who would like to serve in this capacity.
● After the May 4th meeting, the Beach Committee is planning to have an “Improve the Beach Day”!
Please bring your gardening supplies as we pull weeds, trim bushes, and edge flower beds. (Rain day
will be Saturday, May 25th. at 10 a.m.) Please join us- the more the merrier!
● Last year we asked you to register your transmitter at the boom with Kurt Moon. Those registered transmitters will then be activated for the 2024 boating season, with a paid launch fee. All other transmitters will be deactivated. Please email us at Delmardelavan@outlook.com if you need to activate a transmitter with your name and address and contact information. Kurt Moon will be at the
Lake Park on Memorial Day to register outstanding transmitters.
