Highlights/Important News:
● We have accepted a bid from Batterman on the Beach Drainage Pipe Project. We have another meeting with Batterman in March to discuss the project timeline and sign the contract. More information will then be presented at the May 2nd Annual meeting.
● It is important you attend the May 2nd meeting, which starts at 10 a.m. at the Delmar Park Pavilion. Please come early to sign the attendance sheet. We will review the annual budget, discuss the beach pipe project, the next steps in maintaining our beachfront and boat launch, and other important items. We will also be voting on the approval of the proposed 2026 budget, which will be posted on the website in April and in the kiosk for your review prior to the meeting. We need your support moving forward. We appreciate your efforts, starting with your attendance.
● Beach passes for 2026 will be distributed at the May 2nd Annual meeting.
○ Members wishing to have their passes mailed to them will need to provide a self-addressed stamped envelope with their yearly assessments and be in good standing.
● A reminder that beach and park passes must be displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle, or your vehicle may be subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
● This May, we have two director positions on the board whose terms are up, with some vacancy needs that will need to be filled. We are looking for serious members who would like to serve in this capacity.
● This year, in an effort to reduce costs to the subdivision, we will be planning a spring park and beach improvement day. Please bring your gardening supplies as we will pull weeds, trim bushes, and edge flower beds. Please join us- the more the merrier!
○ The Beach Improvement Day will happen on Saturday, May 2nd, following the annual meeting.
○ The Park Improvement Day will happen on Sunday, May 3rd at 10:00 AM
● The pier at Delmar Beach will be put in the water around mid-April. ● For those without an email, there will be a copy of the upcoming agenda, members’ meetings minutes, and any monthly updates sent out via email posted on the website, as well as a paper copy at the kiosks located at the Delmar beach and park.
