Dear Delmar Improvement Association Member:
Our annual meeting is set for Saturday, May 7th at 10:00AM. The meeting will be held at the park pavilion. However, if the temperature for 10:00am is predicted to be under 50 degrees, or predicted to rain, we will meet at Delavan Town Hall (5621 Town Hall Road).
Attached is the agenda for the meeting. You can find the minutes from the prior meetings (that we will be approving), as well as the proxy voting form on our DIA website. Additionally, you can find the proposed budget on the MPC website, which can be accessed on the last tab via our DIA website. www.delmardelavan.com If you do not have Internet access and would like to review prior to the meeting, please visit the Aram Public Library at 404 E. Walworth, Delavan, or ask a relative or neighbor for assistance. We will have a few paper copies of the minutes and budget available at the meeting.
Lastly, we all want what is best for our community and it takes volunteers to help guide us in the right direction. As you will see from the agenda, we will have a few DIA Board of Director positions available for the upcoming year. These are 3-year terms. Volunteering for your community is an integral part of good citizenship. We need your help and ideas for our association to remain adaptable and strong in the coming years. Please consider volunteering for a role on the Delmar Improvement Association Board of Directors.
We look forward to seeing you at the annual meeting.
Respectfully,
Gwen Rayka
President, DIA BOD
